Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap calls late actor Sushant Singh Rajput 'a problematic man' and reveals that he didn't want to work with him.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has openly called Sushant Singh Rajput ‘a problematic man’. Anurag shared the screenshots of his chats with Sushant’s manager on May 22 this year. This is just 3 weeks before the actor’s death. In the chats, Sushant’s manager can be seen requesting Anurag to take Sushant in any project.

She wrote, “Please keep Sushant Singh Rajput in mind if you feel he fits in anywhere with you.”

To this, Anurag replied, “He is too problematic man.” He further told Sushant’s manager that he knew Sushant even before he started out and got his first film Kai Po Che.

While sharing these chats, Anurag wrote on Twitter, “I am sorry that I am doing this but this chat is from three weeks before he passed away. Chat with his manager on 22 May .. havent don’t it so far but feel the need now .. yes I didn’t want to work with him for my own reasons ..”

Anurag had earlier said in an interview that Sushant was dying to work with big banners. He told that he chose to work in Dharma Productions’ film Drive instead of his film. He had said, “When outsiders come into the film industry, they seek validation from certain big banners like YRF, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions or Sanjay Leela Bhansali. That validation you are seeking, and one can’t blame you. It’s a choice you have made but you also have to deal with this.”
