Anupam Kher Visits Pashupatinath Temple In Nepal Before Shooting For ‘Uunchai’

Actor Anupam Kher visited the ancient Pashupatinath temple in Nepal and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Actor Anupam Kher is currently in Nepal to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Uunchai’. He landed in Kathmandu on October 3 and informed his fans on social media as he wrote, “Landed in Kathmandu! It is wonderful to be back in the picturesque city of Stupas & temples after a long gap. I start my fourth film Uunchai with the magician of Indian cinema Sooraj Barjatya tomorrow morning!! Will need your love and blessings! Jai Ho!”

Before beginning the shoot of the film, he visited the ancient Pashupatinath Temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. He shared a video of himself telling about his experience and wrote on social media, “Prayed at the ancient temple of Pashupatinath ji in Kathmandu, Nepal on behalf of everybody. Prayed for good health and peace. This lord Shiva temple was built in 5th century!! Millions of devotees from all over the world come to pray here! Felt blessed. Jai Bholenath!!”

Pashupathinath Temple in Nepal:

Pashupatinath Temple is located in the Kathmandu district of Nepal. Its existence dates back to 400 BCE. It is the oldest Hindi temple in Kathmandu and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in 1979.

Anupam Kher’s Upcoming Film ‘Uunchai’:

Anupam Kher has begun the shooting of the 520th film of his career. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film is titled ‘Uunchai’ and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta and Boman Irani. The film will be shot in Kathmandu, Lukla, Langtang, Manang, Mustang, and other areas.

Anupam Kher recently returned from the US after finishing the shoot of his film ‘Shiv Shashtri Balboa’.
