The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher has been grabbing quite some attention lately, the veteran Bollywood actor was recently seen slamming the Bollywood filmmaker and director Anurag Kashyap for blaming Aditya Chopra for Yash Raj Films’ downfall. Supporting Aditya Chopra Anupam Kher said, “To build an empire like Yash Raj Films is not an easy thing.”
Anupam Kher Slams Anurag Kashyap For Blaming Aditya Chopra
Yash Raj Films is one of the biggest and most renowned production houses in the Bollywood industry. However, the company is undoubtedly going through a rough patch this year. The company delivered some big-time flops this year like Samrat Prithviraj, Shamshera, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
Addressing the same Dobaaraa director Anurag Kashyap was seen blaming Aditya Chopra for the downfall of the production house. While in a recent conversation with RJ Sidharth Kannan, Anupam Kher opened up on Anurag’s statement and said, “I am very, very proud of Aditya Chopra. Yash Ji’s family is like my own family. To have built an empire like Yash Raj Films is not an easy thing. It’s easy for people to make comments. I don’t again want to pass judgment on what he has said. He is not the ultimate authority on human behavior.”
While earlier this month the actor was seen talking about the ongoing failure of Hindi films, addressing the same he also shared a word about the repeated failure of the YRF and told Galatta Plus, “You have one person sitting in a cave, who doesn’t know the world outside, dictating how everybody should be making their films and telling them what to do. If Aditya Chopra has hired a bunch of people, he needs to empower them and not dictate them, not control the casting, not control everything. Sit in your office, hire good people if you trust them, and let them make their films. Which is the mistake he makes. He doesn’t let them (be).”

On the work front, Anupam Kher was recently seen in the blockbuster hit films like Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, and Nikkhil Siddhartha starrer Karthikeya 2. He will soon be seen with Parineeti Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan in Uunchai.
