Anupam Kher Is Shocked As Shimla Man Doesn’t Recognize Him

Anupam Kher is surprised as a passerby on a Shimla road doesn't identify the actor and treats him like a common man.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher spent a week-long vacation in his hometown Shimla after a strict lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. As the actor took a walk on the empty streets of Shimla, he met a local resident who failed to recognise him. Anupam introduced himself and told that he has done 518 films in his career. Even then, the man had a hard time recognizing the actor.

Seeing the simplicity of the man, Anupam shared the video and mentioned that such instances keep him grounded. He wrote in the caption, “Reality Check: I always proudly announce to the world that I have done 518 films. And I presume that everybody (at least in India) knows me. But #GyanChand ji very innocently shattered my confidence. He had no idea who I was. It was funnily heartbreaking and yet beautifully refreshing! Thank you my friend for helping me keep my feet on ground!”
