Aamir Khan’s last film, “Laal Singh Chaddha” had once been one of the most anticipated films of the actor. However, the film left the audience clearly disappointed after its release in 2022. However many believed that the film could’ve worked better if not for the boycott calls and cancel culture.
On the other hand, The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher seems to have different opinions regarding the box office failure of the film. According to the actor, no power would have stopped Laal Singh Chaddha from working if it were a great film.

“Laal Singh Chadda was not a great film. If it was a great film then no power would’ve stopped it. Aamir Khan’s PK worked really well. The point is that you need to accept the truth,” Anupam Kher told ANI.
The Kashmir Files actor further claimed that if the film was good the boycott calls wouldn’t matter, he added, “I am not for boycott trends, not at all but you can’t stop somebody from doing what they want to do. But if your product is good, it will find its audience. In fact, they will go with a vengeance. And the only way to kill this trend is to make brilliant work.”
Meanwhile, Advait Chandan’s directorial Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film “Forrest Gump”, and also featured Kareena Kapoor. The film had a terrible performance at the box office. Reportedly the film ended its run at the box office with a total of 60cr domestically.
