Legendary athlete Milkha Singh, also known as ‘The Flying Silk’ passed away last week at the age of 91 due to Covid-19 complications. On his sad demise, singer Anup Jalota offered his condolences in a video.
He sad, “It is very sad news. We all loved and respected him a lot. He brought glory to our nation. Whenever he used to meet, he would be so loving and humble. Sometimes, we used to cross paths at airports. May his soul rest in peace. May we all remember his legacy forever. All the upcoming athletes should take inspiration from him.”
