TV turned Bollywood actor Ankita Lokhande bid goodbye to Bappa with a promise of him returning next year with happiness and blessings. She took to Instagram and shared several videos from her celebrations.

She performed Puja at her home on Anant Chaturdashi. Ankita wrote in the caption, “Ganpati Bappa Morya Pudchya varshi laukar yaa, May Bappa bless u all, till we meet again.”
The 10-day long Ganesh festival began on August 22 this year. Devotees of Bappa brought him home, sought his blessings and bid a tearful goodbye on Sep 1.
Ankita immersed Lord Ganesha’s eco-friendly idol in a bucket at home.
The actor has been fighting for justice in Sushant Singh Rajput case. Ankita dated Sushant for six years. They both met on the sets of their popular show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and fell in love with each other. They even lived together and wanted to get married. However, something went wrong and they broke up in 2016.
Sushant was found dead at his apartment on June 14 this year. After grieving his demise for a month, Ankita came out in the media and demanded justice for the late actor.
When Ankita welcomed Bappa this year, she prayed for Sushant. She wrote on Instagram, “Welcome home Bappa.
Bappa tu sab jaanta hai. You and I share a very special bond Bappa.Let’s all come together and pray with all heart to Bappa.”

Ankita also rubbished the depression theory in Sushant’s death case. She said that he was a very focused and happy guy and he could never take his own life. She also rubbished Rhea Chakraborty’s claim that Sushant was claustrophobic.
The case is being handled by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and Siddharth Pithani have been interrogated so far.
