‘Animal’ Deleted Scene Goes Viral Again, Netizens Say, “Not Going To Forgive Sandeep Reddy Vanga…”

An ‘Animal’ deleted scene goes viral again, sparking netizens' disappointment and praise for Ranbir Kapoor.

Despite being released eight months ago, ‘Animal’ continues to be the talk of the town. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, and others in a roaring ensemble cast, the film has grossed ₹917.82 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing films in the A-list category. While it received mixed reactions for embracing male toxicity and containing misogynistic content, Ranbir Kapoor’s performance earned widespread appreciation, with many hailing him as the best actor.

Now, an ‘Animal’ deleted scene is going viral again on social media, and netizens are expressing their disappointment over its exclusion from the theatrical release. In the video, Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir) is seen flying on a private jet with his Punjabi brothers after killing his sibling. The intense scene features Ranvijay drinking, walking into the cockpit with a cigarette in his mouth, and his body covered in blood from the fight. He then asks the pilot to move aside and takes control of the jet. The instrumental music of ‘Papa Meri Jaan’ plays in the background, creating an impactful moment.

An X user reuploaded the scene, writing, “Not gonna forgive @imvangasandeep anna for removing this scene in the movie. It’s a pure display of Ranbir showing his silence and agony after killing his brother, especially that lift-off at the end. 🙏”

The ‘Animal’ deleted scene quickly went viral, with netizens sharing their opinions. One user commented, “This scene of the plane ascending symbolizes the story reaching new heights from here on.” Another stated, “He himself regrets it. See the Komal Nahata interview where he wanted to restore the 3:30 hr movie, but Netflix had just changed its policy regarding Director’s Cut, which is why we couldn’t see this scene.”

Recently, director Ram Gopal Varma defended ‘Animal,’ saying the film performed better than big-budget movies at the box office without having a massive budget. He shared, “He (Sandeep) has got the biggest name (Ranbir), and it has done better business than so-called big production value films. So there is no hard and fast rule,” RGV stated.
