The number game goes on, but the best thing is that people like the film. The audience is liking our performances and even the music of the film. I am getting a chance to work with young actors and directors. All my recent films like Dil Dhadakne Do, AK Vs AK, Thar and JugJugg Jeeyo have been helmed by young filmmakers and I feel grateful to be associated with them.”

When asked about how important it is for him to attain these box office numbers, Anil Kapoor said, “It is important for people to make money for those who make films. I am just an actor and do my part. If the filmmakers make money, they’ll repeat me in their next films and I just want that as an actor.”

He concluded, “This is going to be a golden time for cinema because there are so many platforms now. We have theatres, television and OTT. For artists, it is the best time.”
