Angad Bedi Is Hurt As People Boycott Janhvi Kapoor’s Film Over Nepotism Debate

Actor Angad Bedi is hurt as people are criticizing and boycotting upcoming film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ that stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. It is because of the ongoing Nepotism debate that has sparked after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Janhvi Kapoor is a star kid and hails from a strong film background. Actor Angad Bedi plays the role of Janhvi’s brother in the film and he calls this criticism ‘Unfair’. He said in a recent interview, “It’s my film, too… Everyone has a right to their opinion, but people are spitting fire against one another. The flak that the film is receiving is unfair. Every industry is competitive.” He then talked about his struggles and said, “I have auditioned for over 300 movies, and every rejection has been a learning experience. My role in Soorma led me to this film. I had gone to meet Shashank Khaitan, who, in turn, made me meet Sharan. After I tested for the role, Sharan told Karan Johar he wanted me for the part. There are lakhs of people in the industry, so it’s only fair that we all get a chance. Actors are like any other professional who work for a pay cheque.” He concluded, “I have made my career here, I make money from it to look after my family.” Angad made his Hindi film debut in 2011 with film F.A.L.T.U. He was then seen in films like Ungli, Pink, Dear Zindagi, Soorma, The Zoya Factor and Tiger Zinda Hai.
