Ananya Panday has always been in the limelight even before she became a Bollywood actress because of being the daughter of Chunky Panday. Being a star kid there were many expectations on her from the media and audience of whether she will cement her place in B-Town or not. But Ananya won over the hearts of the audience when she made her debut in Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
Student Of The Year 2 did an average business at the Box Office but Ananya’s role was praised by many. She even went on to win the Best Debut Award at various award functions. Post SOTY 2, Ananya was seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh along with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar and the film was a blockbuster.
Next up, we will see Ananya alongside Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli and after that she will be seen in a movie titled Fighter.
Ever since Ananya stepped into Bollywood, she has always been questioned on the topic of nepotism since she is the daughter of actor Chunky Panday. Ananya has never denied the fact that star kids have an advantage over outsiders trying to come in the cine industry.
Putting forward her opinion on the debate of nepotism, Ananya said that she agrees that star kids have easier access to the people in the industry as they grow up around them.
Ananya further shared, “But now that I’ve got that chance, it’s unfair for me to waste it. I want to make my father proud.”
Ananya then went on to talk about her next film titled Khaali Peeli and why she is excited about the film. In a recent interview, Ananya said that she is very excited about Khaali Peeli as it is a special film for her as she thinks that every moment spent shooting the film has been fun and exciting.
Speaking of her co-star Ishaan Khatter, Ananya said, “Ishaan and I did a lot of our stunts in the film which is exciting for me as I have never done that before.”
Apart from Khaali Peeli, Ananya will also be seen in Shakun Batra’s yet to be titled film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone. And after that, she will be sharing the screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in Fighter marking her first PAN India release.
