Ananya Panday who recently made her Bollywood debut with Punit Malhotra’s Student of the year 2 was praised for her acting in the film. Since then her career has seen a rise as she managed to bag 2 films including Khaali Peeli and Pati Patni Aur Woh. And though both films are different in their genre, Ananya also wants to do a film with her father.
In a recent interview, Ananya spoke about her relationship with her dad and also reacted to his comment of him being wilder in his younger days than her. She said, “I have heard so many crazy stories, people still talk about his New Year parties in the ’90s, when guests used to randomly show up. I’m really not as wild as him but I would like to carry forward the legacy of his New Year parties.” Talking about working with her dad Ananya stated she would love to do a comedy film with him. She said, “I’d love to do a comedy, something in the David Dhawan zone, as he’s known for his comic timing.”
Everyone is aware of Suhana, Ananya and Shanaya friendship and the trio are often seen together in the city. Ananya who is filming for her second movie spoke about her BFFs and chance of a film with Suhana and Shanaya. She revealed that the three of them are just like any regular BFFs and talk about other things than just films. Ananya also revealed that Suhana is a ‘brilliant actress’ and revealed that Shanaya is also making her debut soon.
Talking about the three doing a film together, she said, “I really want to do a girls’ version of Dil Chahta Hai or Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Even an original story about three best friends would be perfect for Suhana, Shanaya and me.” Well, it will be a refreshing change to see female protagonists playing BFFs on screen in Bollywood.
