Fans got excited ever since Uunchai was announced for its unique theme and concept. A day before Amitabh Bachchan’s 80th Birthday, makers shared a new poster presenting his character. Uunchai featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Parineeti Chopra will release in theaters on 11th November 2022.
Big B also shared the poster on his Instagram account and introduced his character from the upcoming film to his fans. The caption read, “This one from @rajshrifilms is special… Meet me as Amit Shrivastava in Uunchai on 11.11.22… This film by Sooraj Barjatya celebrates life and friendship… Save The Date for @uunchaithemovie.”
In the new poster of Uunchai, Amitabh Bachchan is seen grey wearing winter clothes on a trek surrounded by white snow clad mountains. The poster also sees him donning a coat, brown cap, and spectacles sitting among a group of women.
Uunchai is a unique story of three old friends on a trek to the mountains. Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher’s elderly aged trip to the Himalayas is headed by a tour guide Parineeti Chopra. Uunchai will also star Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Nafisa Ali Sodhi.
Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya Uunchai is produced under the banner of Rajshri Productions. The film marks the return of Sooraj Barjatya to films after a hiatus of 7 years. He last directed Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The much-awaited movie of great stars of Indian cinema is slated to release on 11th November this year.
Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 80 today on 11th October. To give an ode to the superstar PVR organized a Film Festival dedicated to his movies. Completing 5 decades in the film industry he delivered many masterpieces, a few of which were screened in 4 days special screening. PVR Cinemas handpicked Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic movies and screened them in 22 theaters across 17 cities. The grand event started on 8th October.
Big B’s latest release Goodbye starring Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta was released theatrically on 7th October. He is also hosting the 14th season of a popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
