Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who is currently hosting the very popular television show, Kaun Banega Crorepati on Tuesday, announced on his Twitter handle that he has contracted the COVID-19 virus for the second time. The actor along with his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai was earlier infected with the infection in 2020.
Amitabh Bachchan Tests COVID Positive For Second Time
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, on Tuesday, announced that he has contracted the COVID-19 infection, sharing the news on his Twitter account Amitabh wrote, “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also.”
Reacting to the announcement, many netizens wished for a speedy recovery of the actor, a user wrote, “No worries SIR YOU ARE STRONGEST MAN .. I DO BELIEVE YOU LIKE BEFORE YOU CAN OVERCOME IT SO EASILY JALDI YOU WILL GET RECOVERED I AM STRONGLY SURE .. PRAYING TO GET MUCH BETTER VERY SOON AMEN”, another user wrote, “Please take care, Sir. You are way too precious. Prayers for your speedy recovery. Stay hydrated.”
While earlier in 2020, the megastar’s family contracted the virus, actor Abhishek Bachchan was the first one in the family who tested positive, following him the megastar Amitabh and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai also contracted the virus. In 2020, the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan was even hospitalized for a couple of weeks, however, he returned back to his home and his work in August.

Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 14th season of the popular television show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. He was last seen in Ajay Devgn’s film Runway 34, he will soon be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s film, Brahmastra, he also has Good Bye with Rashmika Mandanna and ‘Project K’ with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
