Amitabh Bachchan Starrer “Jhund” First Look Poster Out

Directed by Nagraj Manjule “Jhund” will feature Amitabh Bachchan as the lead. This film is reportedly slated to release on 8 May 2020.

There is no doubt that any movie which features Amitabh Bachchan as a lead actor creates a buzz, and his upcoming film titled, “Jhund” happens to be falling into the same category. The fans of the veteran actor were all in anticipation to know more about this film after its many on-set pictures made rounds on social media.

To reward the patience of the fans, the makers of Amitabh Bachchan starrer “Jhund” have released the first look poster of this film. Last evening, Amitabh Bachchan took it on his Twitter handle to announce this news.

In this poster, we can see Amitabh Bachchan showing his back-posture. He is dressed in all-blue attire, the actor is seen looking at a slum habitation while a red-white football lay in front of him.

“Jhund” is the directorial debut of “Sairat” fame director Nagraj Manjule into the Bollywood industry. This film is said to be based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer. In the film, Amitabh will essay the character of a professor who motivates street children to take up football and then initiates a football team.

This film will also feature the “Sairat” actors Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar along with another Marathi industry actor Ganesh Deshmukh, who was last seen in the 2018 Marathi movie “Naal”.

On the work front, Big B is filming Karan Johar’s “Brahmastra” along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He is also working on projects such as “Chehre” and “Gulabo Sitabo”.

The Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner has always impressed us with his on-screen presence and we hope that he creates a similarly delightful experience in the theatres for the moviegoers with  his upcoming ventures.
