Amitabh Bachchan Reveals The Prosthetics For Gulabo Sitabo Took THIS Much Time

Bollywood’s legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has always charmed his fans with his versatile roles in different genres of movies. The 77-year old actor still manages to nail any unconventional role with absolute perfection. Recently, Amitabh starred in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo and his acting is being hailed by the audience.

In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan has played the role of old Mirza and for portraying the character he even had to change his walking posture to make it look extremely realistic. Speaking of his role in the movie, the veteran actor that every role comes with a challenge for those that agree to work on it and Gulabo Sitabo was none the less.

He revealed that in the month of May he had to sit for a good four to five hours per day for the prosthetics, and he had to get the posture right for his role. But if he wishes to call himself a professional then he must accept and enjoy the challenges.

Gulabo Sitabo also features Bollywood’s in-form versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana in a pivotal role opposite his idol Amitabh Bachchan. The plot of the movie revolves around two scheming men who get caught up in a game of one-upmanship, each one attracting other members to their clan and each one with an agenda of his own.

The film had to skip its theatrical release because of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. The film was originally slated to release on April 17, 2020.
