Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently tested coronavirus positive for the second time. For the first time, he battled the disease back in 2020 when his entire family contracted the virus. Big B shared his disappointment after he was diagnosed with the illness again. The actor had to isolate himself from his work during the shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He wrote a blog post on his Tumblr account providing his health updates.
However, the actor doesn’t intend to give routine health bulletins as he deals with the illness to his fans but wants to keep them updated about it. He started his note by thanking those who have sent him their concern, prayers, and love. The veteran actor is touched by the gratitude he received and acknowledges it with folded hands.
The 79-year-old actor wrote, “Yes despite all the precautions and the dosage for its prevention…the injection one and two and the booster thereafter…the care to not be in the presence of the public realm…Covid-19 did win and come out victorious! To say that I am disappointed would be an under statement…it is the concern I bring on those that are near and dear.”
Amitabh Bachchan further wrote on diagnosing coronavirus, “The sudden issues of the work front and their adjustments if at all they can be, of how to catch up with lost time, especially in the matter of the TV programme which as we are well aware, takes an immense amount of time and energy to coordinate and set up… it is the helplessness that invades the system… and the assurance that many give that all shall be well, is most courageous of them… but ever there are eternal apprehensions for their fructification. I have no intent of giving health bulletins… but yes I shall and I should keep you updated…what that update shall be, will be my prerogative… hahahahaha.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 14th season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega crorepati aka KBC. On the filming part, he completed the shooting of Goodbye with Rashmika Mandhana and Neena Gupta. He will be next seen playing a significant role in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra which will release on 9th September.
