Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Twitter handle to share a photo of his hand with a’ Home Quarantined’ stamp on it, amid increasing concern over the coronavirus situation.

Last night Big B shared a picture of his hand with the ‘Home Quarantined’ stamp over it. The actor tweeted, “T 3473 – Stamping started on hands with voter ink, in Mumbai .. keep safe, be cautious, remain isolated if detected..”

Bachchan has been spreading the message about coronavirus widely on social media. He recently penned a poem and posted a video on Twitter about his version of the same. His weekly Sunday meeting with his fans at his residence was also canceled amidst the coronavirus concern.

Dilip Kumar, another Bollywood star, said on Monday that he is “completely under isolation” as a precautionary measure to avoid any coronavirus outbreak infections.

Talking about the ‘Home Quarantined’ stamp, it was for the coronavirus suspects under home quarantine. It is now only applicable in Maharashtra.

Greater Mumbai’s Municipal Commissioner Pravin Pardeshi has issued an order to all officials at hospitals and the airport, asking them to ‘stamp’ behind the left palm of the home quarantined person concerned, the dates of isolation, with ink that would last for 14 days.
