Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actor Dharmendra have received a bomb threat from an anonymous caller. A phone call was received by the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Nagpur, that claimed that bombs have been planted near the residences of both veteran artists.
The caller also claimed that 25 armed men have reached Dadar in Mumbai to carry out the terror attack. Nagpur police has passed on this information to Mumbai police, and the cops have already started working on tracing the caller. The teams of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) are also likely to check for any suspicious objectives near the premises of the the two.
Amitabh Bachchan’s home in Mumbai is a famous landmark where every Sunday the actor steps out to meet his fans and this isn’t the first time Amitabh’s residence has received a bomb threat. In 2021, the crime intelligence unit of Mumbai Police had detained two people in connection with spreading rumours of putting bomb at Amitabh Bachchan’s residence along with three railway stations.
Amitabh will be next seen in Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s sci-fi action thriller Project K and Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon starrer Ganapath. 85 year old Dharmendra will next feature in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The romantic drama will also feature Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
