Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has minted over Rs 330 crore at the box office. Made with a very small budget with no big stars and marketing, the film sailed through all odds and created history.
Actress Ameesha Patel, who will be next seen in Gadar 2, has appreciated Vivek Agnihotri’s film. She said during a media interaction, “I think, every good content is important and the reason I supported ‘The Kashmir Files’ on social media is because people don’t tend to give small films a lot of credibility. We always run behind big stars. But this was a small film made with a very small budget. And now they have made exceptional profits at the box office. It is unstoppable. This kind of success has never been heard of! It is actually taking bigger films out of the screens to replace them. So, it just shows that a good film will always work. And the star and the hero of the film will always be its content more than us actors.”
Gadar 2 is currently in the filming stage. The film is eying for theatrical release this year.
