Allu Arjun, who is one of the biggest stars of Telugu film industry is currently in high demand, especially after the blockbuster success of his last release Pushpa: The Rise. And hence, the actor was reportedly offered to play a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s next pan Indian film Jawan. However, it has been learned that Allu Arjun has rejected the film.
And the reason for his refusal to be part of Jawan, is his most awaited sequel Pushpa 2. The actor has decided to give up on his cameo to cater more time to prepare for his Pushpa Raj role. As per reports, though the actor’s role was quite small yet impactful alongside SRK in Jawan, however, he wanted to dedicate his time to Pushpa 2.
Allu Arjun wants to dedicate all his time for Pushpa 2 and will continue to focus on the same for the next few months. Moreover, the actor is currently busy shooting for an important scene along with Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa 2 is a sequel of Sukumar-directed action drama Pushpa The Rule, which featured Allu Arjun in the role of a bold lorry driver.
For the unversed, Jawan is helmed by popular Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar. The action thriller film also features Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles. The pan Indian project is scheduled to be released on 2 June 2023.
