Aligarh Director Apurva Asrani Praised Priyanka Chopra: ‘She Didn’t End Up Like Sushant Singh Rajput

Priyanka Chopra recently spoke about Bollywood's dirty politics; many celebrities have come to praise her, and now Aligarh director Apurva Asrani has also praised her.

Priyanka Chopra is in the headlines for describing how she had to leave the profession, and she has once again fueled debates over the harsh treatment of “outsiders” in Bollywood. She also stated that she isn’t a nepotist. Following in the footsteps of actress Kangana Ranaut and director Vivek Agnihotri, Amaal Malik, Aligarh director Apurva Asrani has now praised her for coming out. He praised her accomplishments and recalled the late actors Parveen Babi and Sushant Singh Rajput.

He took to his Twitter handle and wrote in the caption, “Finally Priyanka Chopra reveals what everyone knew, but said not a word. Not the liberals, not the feminists. They hail those who ostracised her, and celebrate the kings who tried to destroy her. It is a massive win that she didn’t end up like Parveen Babi or Sushant Singh Rajput.”

Recently, Priyanka spoke about why she chose to move to the US despite having a successful Bollywood career when she appeared on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard. The 40-year-old actress talked about how some people didn’t want to put her in certain roles and had issues with her. PeeCee stated that her music video was what got her a job in Hollywood because she was sick of the politics she had to deal with.

Some well-known personalities who have suffered in Bollywood came out in support of Priyanka.
