The shoot of the film was originally supposed to end and wrap up by summer 2020, but COVID 19 pandemic stopped and stalled the film shooting. According to a report by leading newspaper publication, the director and actor duo is all set to kick start work from October.

A source close to the actor was quoted by the newspaper publication as, “In the first post-pandemic schedule, they will film solo scenes of Alia Bhatt and other sequences that require fewer people. Some cheat shots will have to be employed, which will be corrected later at the VFX stage. Being a perfectionist who doesn’t want to compromise on the scale of the product, the filmmaker has decided to shoot the more elaborate scenes later. The set is currently being fixed and sanitised for an October shoot. However, Bhansali has yet to determine the final dates”.

On the work front apart from this film, actor Alia Bhatt next upcoming film is Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra” alongside Ranbir Kapoor. This film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Gurfateh Singh Pirzada among others.

Besides this, her next upcoming film projects include Baahubali director SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” and Dharma Production’s Karan Johar directorial venture “Takht” in her kitty.
