Lately, several reports and rumors surfaced on the internet claiming that Alia Bhatt will be having a “cameo” role in Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer upcoming Telugu film, “Devara”. Let’s decode the rumors.

Well, it all started after a picture of Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR and Karan Johar went viral from a recent promotional event. During the promotional event of Devara, Jr NTR was joined by Jigra actress Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar. However, unlike the rumors, Alia only joined Devara’s promotional event to promote her upcoming film, Jigra.
A report by Pinkvilla revealed that Alia was collaborating with her RRR co-star for a cross-promotion effort, supporting their respective movies, Jigra and Devara: Part 1. Hence, rumors about Alia having a “cameo” in Devara are NOT true.

About Devara
Devara features RRR actor Jr NTR, alongside Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will reportedly play the antagonist in the film. Apart from them the film also stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko in key roles. The film is set to release in theaters on September 27, 2024.
