After a long hiatus, Ranbir Kapoor is returning to the big screens this year. The actor was last seen in the 2018 film ‘Sanju’ and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to see their favourite superstar. However, the wait is now over as Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Shamshera’ is all set to release in theatres on 22 July.
Yash Raj Films has today shared the first teaser of Shamshera. Ranbir’s wife Alia Bhatt too retweeted the trailer and made a spark emoji.

The minute-and-a-half long teaser features Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. It doesn’t reveal the film’s plot but promises an engaging conflict. Shamshera (played by Ranbir Kapoor) is a dacoit who leads his ‘tribe’ in revolt against Sanjay Dutt’s character. Ranbir is projected as a messiah. Shamshera trailer will release on 24th June.

Shamshera is a period action film produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It is directed by Karan Malhotra. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The film will release in theatres on 22 July 2022.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in a fantasy film this year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.
