Ranbir and Alia, who have just started with the promotions of their upcoming highly anticipated film ‘Brahmastra’ are feeding fans with their constant acts of PDA. It was one of the recent promotional events where Ranbir, for the first time, made their relationship official by admitting that the two would’ve been married by now if it wasn’t for the pandemic. If your fans are speculating that they’d get married anytime soon, maybe you’re not right!
The couple has been reportedly planning to get married by the end of next year or January 2023, and it won’t be the classic ‘Destination wedding’ that most celebs opt for. They would get hitched here, in Mumbai, in the presence of their entire family and friends from the film fraternity. If we were to believe a source close to Alia, they said,
“Alia and Ranbir might not do a destination wedding but will get hitched in Mumbai itself. The couple will tie the knot in the presence of their close and loved ones, they don’t want to do a lavish wedding. It will be closed knit affair as Ranbir and Alia, both are very private individuals.”
The source further went on to reveal that the marriage is being planned in Mumbai owing to the couples’ family member’s convenience. Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and Ranbir’s uncles don’t find it too comfortable to travel too far for the wedding, hence a small intimate affair would be arranged for the duo’s wedding.
Earlier Alia had shared about her desire to see her groom on her wedding day riding a white horse! With so many wedding bells ringing in Bollywood in the past several months, fans can wait to see their beloved actors Ranbir and Alia soon as a Man and wife. Alia has always talked highly of Ranbir, the latter too didn’t fail to express his admiration for his lady love.
“I would’ve been sealed had the pandemic not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life. My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is — from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially, we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day” he says.
The off-screen couple will soon be seen romancing on screen too with their movie Brahmastra releasing in September 2022. An Ayaan Mukherjee directorial, the movie casts Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy along with the power couple.
