After becoming a brand ambassador to several foreign luxury brands, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has added another brand to her list of endorsements. The Jigra actress has now joined Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai as the brand ambassador of “L’Oréal Paris”. Taking to her Instagram the actress announced the same, sharing videos and pictures.

Alia Bhatt Joins L’Oréal As ‘Brand Ambassador’

In the shared pictures and videos, Alia Bhatt donned a beige oversized blazer with high-waisted trousers and a white fitted top featuring the tagline “I am worth it.” The relaxed blazer and wide-leg trousers exuded a commanding presence, while the form-fitting tank highlighted her silhouette. Her short hair was styled in playful waves.

Netizens Troll Alia Bhatt

While a plethora of her fans congratulated and appreciated the brand’s choice for choosing Alia, many on the other hand were seen trolling Alia. In the video, Alia spoke about empowering women, but many netizens brought up her past “lipstick” controversy, where she had mentioned removing her lipstick because her husband, Ranbir, didn’t like it. On the other hand, many netizens were seen comparing Alia with Aishwarya Rai, stating that the latter is better and cannot be replaced.

A user wrote, “But I will still wipe off my loreal lipstick when my husband tells me to”, one commented, “No one can replace Aishwarya as the brand ambassador of loreal”, another user commented, “Lol. Who are the women she is empowering?”.

For the unversed, before Alia Bhatt many other Bollywood actresses have joined Loreal, the list includes names like Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and others. It is to be noted while Alia has joined the bandwagon, Aishwarya still remains one of the ambassadors of the brand.
