Actor Ali Fazal has come a long way in the Bollywood industry ever since his debut in 2009 with 3 Idiots. The actor has climbed up the ladder of success in the past couple of years. With one of his famous projects being the Fukrey franchise. And now leaving an imprint on the hearts of the masses with his brilliant performance in Mirzapur. Now, Ali Fazal is all set to play a lead role in a Hollywood venture.
Ali Fazal will be starring as the lead in an official adaptation of the bestselling novel Code Name: Johnny Walker. Apart from this, Ali Fazal also has on more Hollywood venture titled Death On The Nile safe in his kitty.
Speaking of Death On The Nile, the film has a star cast comprising of Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer among a few more famous celebs.
Ali has a pivotal role to play in this mystery thriller movie. This movie is also an adaptation of a book of the same name written by Agatha Christie.
Coming back to Code Name: Johnny Walker, it is a war drama. It is based on the New York Times bestselling by the same name. It is co-written by Jim Delfice who has also co-written American Sniper.
The screenplay is originally written by Alan Wenkus, he is an Academy Award nominee. He also is a former writer of The Tonight Show.
Spilling the beans on his upcoming Hollywood venture, Ali Fazal revealed to a film magazine that the people in the west are now more open to writing parts that can cater to actors from across the canvas.
Fazal further adds that it is a tough job to do as it involves getting geography out of the head.
On the work front, Ali Fazal has Mirzapur 2 releasing on October 23. Apart from that, he will also star in the third installment of the Fukrey franchise.
