Prithviraj: Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film Prithviraj has opened its advanced bookings. Akshay Kumar shared the news on his Instagram with a picture. The film will come among the fans on June 3, with a few days left and now the advance booking of the film has also started.
Akshay Kumar shared a post on Instagram giving the commencement of advance booking of tickets for the film. The actor shared the poster of the film, which reads ‘BOOK TICKET FOR THE FILM’. Apart from this, the release date of the film is also on the poster. This film of Akshay Kumar has created tremendous buzz among fans. In such a situation, the makers also believe that advance booking of tickets for the film will be good. It is expected that ticket booking in advance will be around Rs 10 to 12 crores. The Bookings started off with a good response as it reached 20 Lakhs on the very first day. With still 5 days to go, the movie is expected to earn more with the advance ticket sales.

Recently the actor shared a picture along with actress Manushi Chhillar as they both land in Varanasi. Sharing the pic he wrote, “Samrat Prithviraj ki team aaj aa pahunchi hai bhagwan vishwanath ji ki nagri, varanasi mein”.
Akshay Kumar’s film was also embroiled in controversies ahead of its release. Karni Sena had opposed the name of the film. The organization had filed public interest litigation seeking a change in the name of the film. It was said in the petition that the Rajput community was hurt due to the title of the film, after which the makers changed the name of the film from ‘Prithviraj’ to ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. On Saturday, May 28, the poster of the film with the new name also surfaced.
‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is being produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Actor Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of King Prithviraj in this film based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. At the same time, Manushi Chhillar is going to debut in Bollywood with the character of Sanyogita. Apart from Akshay and Manushi, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, Ashutosh Rana, Manav Vij, Sakshi Tanwar, and Lalit Tiwari will also be seen playing important roles in the film.
