1. Selfiee
Akshay Kumar’s first release of this year is Selfiee. It is a comedy action film also starring Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Selfiee is directed by Raj Mehta and will release in theatres on Feb 24.

2. Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat
Khiladi Akshay Kumar will make his Marathi debut this year. He will be seen as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in upcoming period Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. The makers are aiming the Diwali release of this film.
3. OMG 2
Akshay Kumar is returning with the sequel of his 2012 film OMG- Oh My God! OMG 2 stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Arun Govil, The film revolves around the subject of Indian education system. Akshay Kumar will be seen as Lord Shiva while Arun Govil will portray Lord Rama.

4. Capsule Gill
After working in Kesari, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra have again paired for the film titled Capsule Gill. This film is based on a real-life incident in 1989 when additional chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill helped in the rescue of people after a coal mine in West Bengal was flooded.
5. Untitled Remake of Soorarai Pottru
Akshay Kumar is doing the Hindi remake of National Award-winning Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, starring South superstar Suriya. Radhika Madan has been signed as the female lead of the film.
6. Bade Miya Chote Miyan
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have stepped into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda for the new version of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film will be released on Dec 22. The action comedy thriller also reportedly features Janhvi Kapoor, Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar and Sonakshi Sinha.
7. Singham Again
Rohit Shetty recently announced Singham Again. It is another addition to his cop universe and third installment of Singham. Akshay Kumar, who joined Shetty’s cop-universe with Sooryavanshi, will also be seen making a special cameo in Singham Again.
8. Khel Khel Mein
Akshay Kumar has signed filmmaker Mudassar Aziz’s comedy film Khel Khel Mein. As per the reports, this film also features Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Ammy Virk.
9. C Sankaran Biopic
Akshay Kumar will be essaying the role of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought against the British. This film has been adapted from the novel, “The Case That Shook the Empire” written by Raghu and Pushpa Palat. The period drama, set in the 1920s & 1930s, also features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
10. Housefull 5
Akshay Kumar is returning with the fifth installment of the popular Housefull franchise. Housefull 5 was announced in 2022. It features Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Chunky Pandey, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Sanon.
