Due to the coronavirus pandemic, India is currently under lockdown to combat the spread of the virus. In the last few weeks, the nation has seen a rapid increase in the patients infected with the novel coronavirus. In the midst of the pandemic, medical professionals are on the frontline fighting a war against the virus to keep everyone safe.

Outside of the hospital, Mumbai police is also working day and night to ensure that people don’t break the lockdown rules and maintain social distancing. Many B-Town celebs like- Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana and many others have thanked Mumbai police for their service in the times of the crisis.

Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter to share with a caption that reads, “Name : Akshay Kumar City : Mumbai …Mere aur mere parivaar ki taraf se… Police, Nagar Nigam ke workers, doctors, nurses, NGOs, volunteers, government officials, vendors, building ke guards ko #DilSeThankYou.”

Later he also shared a video and said, “There’s an army of people working day and night to keep us safe, our families safe. Lets together say #DilSeThankYou to them because that’s the least we can do. @my_bmc #MumbaiPolice.”

Akshay Kumar is also first amongst the many B-Town celebs to have stepped forward to make donations to PM-CARES Fund in the fight against the novel coronavirus. Khiladi Kumar donated a whopping Rs. 25 crore to the relief fund and urged people to make contributions on their behalf.

Akshay Kumar has also been very active on social media and is doing all he can to spread awareness amongst the public about the novel coronavirus.
