Akshay Kumar talks about the time when he had 14 flops and believed his career was over!

Akshay Kumar whos last movie Mission Mangal was a blockbuster and has a couple of interesting films in his kitty such as, Housefull 4, Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and more, which will surely entertain his audiences

Akshay Kumar who is currently riding on his wave of success, since the past few years for him has been extremely fulfilling, giving a couple of hit films. His career that is now spanning close to three decades, Akshay Kumar has his own shares of downs, he to had a dark period where he delivered fourteen flops and he at that time thought his career would go for a toss.

At the grand launch of HT GIFA, talking about the same he said, “There was a time when I had 14 flops and I believed my career was over. I was dejected, but it was my training as a martial artist that came handy. It teaches you discipline. It was my learning from the 14 flops that helps me deliver hits today.”

After his movie Mission Mangal hit the theatres, Akshay took off to London to celebrate his birthday with his family and has now got back to work. He has already completed filming for Good Newwz opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, while he is currently filming or Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi. 

Akshay Kumar is now busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Housefull 4. He also joked about how after delivering films such as Mission Mangal, Padman, and Airlift, he thinks people are going to lose all respect for him after doing a film like Housefull. He said, “Every time I want a break, I do a Housefull film. It is a fun film; I have fun on the sets. Having said that, making people laugh with slapstick is the toughest of jobs.”

Apart from Akshay, Housefull 4 also features Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Chunky Panday and more and will hit theatres on October 26, 2019.
