Akshay Kumar Shot Samrat Prithviraj In 46 days, First Historical Movie Finished In Shortest Span Of Time

Akshay Kumar shot Samrat Prithviraj in just 46 days, that is less than even two months.

Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood releasing movies every third or the fourth month. In the recent past, he has delivered 5 major films, namely Bachchan Pandey, Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re, and the very latest one Samrat Prithviraj. It is wondered how as an actor he manages to make four films a year while other actors take 1-2 years to shoot one film. Talking about his latest release it is said that Akshay Kumar shot Samrat Prithviraj in just 46 days. Wow, that is mesmerizing as that does not even complete two months. 

Samrat Prithviraj is a historical movie based on the real-life story of 12th emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay essayed the lead character of the king who battled against the Mughals Muhammad of Ghor. We have learned that Akshay completed the movie in just 46 days and with that this is the first historical movie to be completed in such a short time. The action drama is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. This film also stars debutant Miss World Manushi Chhillar as princess Sanyogita.

The team visited the Kapil Sharma Show for the promotions. A video clip from the show was shared on the internet and the director of the movie Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi was recorded saying the film was shot in very less time. Talking about shooting the period When Archana Puran Singh asked the director about how long did it take to complete the film, he said “We finished it in 100 days. This would be the first historical movie of India which is made in the shortest span of time.”

He further added: “You all might be surprised to know how many days were there for Akshay. Only 46 days.” To this, the host of the show Kapil reacted “Waah”. Actually wow, Akshay Kumar is definitely Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood. Making history by completing a periodic drama or historical movie in the shortest span for the first time. 

On the work front, Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Amit Rai’s ‘Oh My God 2 (OMG 2)’, Abhishek Sharma’s ‘Ram Setu’, Raj Mehta’s ‘Selfiee’, and Ranjit Tewari’s untitled next in the pipeline. The Sooryavanshi actor has already finished shooting for many of these. And if to believe speculation he is in a process of signing Dinesh Vijan’s next project. Looks like Akshay has some targets to achieve by a given time or age.
