Yash Raj Films debuted in the historical genre with ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ which has been released overall today. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and the former Miss World Manushi Chillar in the lead role. Akshay Kumar essaying the role of mighty king Prithviraj has confessed that Samrat Prithviraj is a very special movie of his career. He was fortunate to work on this project and hopes the film will inspire many with its strong value.
Before the release, the Khiladi Kumar also urged audience who would watch the movie in theaters to not spread out spoilers. The makers believe the visual spectacle and awe-inspiring moments should be experienced on big screens only. Meanwhile, the actor has cited that the periodic drama is the most crucial and paramount movie of his career.
Revealing why the movie is close to his heart, the actor says, “Samrat Prithviraj is a very important film in my career. It is my legacy project because I’m getting to honour the legendary Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. I’m fortunate that I’m getting to bring his heroism and life on screen. I hope this film inspires many to lead their life with strong values and get the courage to stand up against any and every evil. Samrat Prithviraj, to me, is a rare project.”
