Akshay Kumar On North Vs South Debate, Wishes To Collab With This Actor

Akshay Kumar opens up on South industry stature and shares his desire to work with 'Pushpa' actor Allu Arjun.

After the immense success of the films ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF 2’, South’s stature had increased significantly from Bollywood and a dispute arose between the two industries. Now addressing the topic Prithviraaj actor Akshay Kumar has given his response on this matter.

In a conversation with the media during the promotion of his film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, Akshay gave his opinion on the issue of South Vs Bollywood and told that South actors should work with him. He expressed his desire to work with South’s superstar Allu Arjun.

During a recent media interaction Prithviraj actor Akshay was asked about how South films were doing better business than Hindi films, to this he said, “Please stop creating the divide and rule kind of scenario in the country. There is nothing called south and north we all are one as an industry. Now, the time has come from across all the Industries to join and work together for a film for all the Indian audiences and Allu Arjun should work with me soon and I will act with another south actor. That is the way forward from now on”.

These days Akshay Kumar is held busy a lot in the promotion of his film. ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is the first historical film made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, which depicts the story of the courageous king Prithviraj Chauhan. According to the reports the film has been banned in Kuwait and Oman, while it has been kept on hold in Qatar. ‘Manushi Chillar’ is going to step into the acting world with this film.

While the film has been released and has been receiving a good response from the audience, many shared their early reviews after watching the first show of the film.

Samrat Prithviraj’, which is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role as he plays the legendary warrior who fought valiantly to protect India from the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. It also stars former Miss World Manushi Chhillar in the role of King Prithviraj’s beloved princess Sanyogita. The film is directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.
