Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani is a remake of the Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana and is in the news for some time now. When the first post of the film dropped, Akshay was seen with Kajal in his eyes. Akshay who is known to impress audiences with his versatility took to his social and shared his first look at Laxmmi from the film.
In the post that Akshay shared, he is seen draped in a red saree with makeup and a bindi on his forehead. He does also has quite an intense expression on his face and is seen bowing down to his inner goddess as he gets ready to step into the shoes of a female. Laxmmi Bomb tells the story of a man who is afraid of the supernatural powers, gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender, Laxmmi. Thus leading to hilarious situations in his life. Akshay also captioned the picture as “Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about… but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone… isn’t it? #LaxmmiBomb.”
Khiladi Kumar has been filming for the film in Mumbai and is often papped on a jetty while heading for the shoot. On the announcement of the film, there were some issues with the director of the film which was later resolved and director Raghava Lawrence is back to directing the film. Produced by Shabina Khan and Tusshar Kapoor, the film will release on on Eid i.e, May 22, 2020.
