Akshay Kumar Breaks Silence On Sushant’s Demise And NCB Probe

Akshay Kumar has broken his silence on Sushant Singh Rajput's demise and the ongoing NCB investigation of drug nexus in Bollywood.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is back to Mumbai after finishing the shoot of his upcoming film Bell Bottom. He took to Instagram to address the debates that have been going on around Bollywood industry for the last few months.

Akshay posted a video of himself and said that he saw so much negativity that he didn’t understand whom to talk to and what to say.  He said it is okay to be angry and Bollywood accepts it whole-heartedly.

The actor said Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate demise has saddened the B’town celebs as much as the fans.

Akshay acknowledged the drug problem in Bollywood and said, “These days, there is a lot being spoken about narcotics and drugs. Today, I cross my heart and tell you that I wouldn’t lie about the problem not existing.”

He further added,  “Every industry has this problem, but it is not true that every person is involved in the problem. I am sure that the authorities (NCB, CBI) will take the right action in the matter.”

With folded hands, Akshay requested people to not shun down the whole industry because of a few people.

He also said that he believed in the power of media and requested the media houses to break news with sensitivity. He said that they can destroy the hardwork and reputation of someone within seconds.
