Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha flew to Ayodhya yesterday to kickstart the shooting of their film ‘RamSetu’. The trio took a private plane to Lucknow and then headed to Ayodhya by road.
The cast and crew performed a Muhurat Puja in Ayodhya in order to begin shooting the film with Lord Ram’s blessings.
The team returned to Mumbai on the same day and posed for the paparazzi.
Akshay had announced the film last year. Taking to his social media accounts, Akshay posted a poster and wrote, “This Deepawali,let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead,here is our humble attempt – #RamSetu.”
