After Raid At House, Shilpa Shetty Writes An Instagram Post

Shilpa Shetty has penned a note on Instagram after Crime Branch raided her house while her husband is in police custody.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s Juhu residence was raided by Crime Branch this afternoon. The raid was conducted in a case related to the production and distribution of pornographic content.

Hours after the raid, Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram and wrote a note for her fans and followers. In her post, she urged people not to boycott her film Hungama 2 that is releasing tonight. She wrote,

“I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga,’The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.’
Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!
So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film.

Hungama 2 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar VIP from 7:30 PM today. It stars Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash in lead roles. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and marks Shilpa Shetty’s comeback to Bollywood after 14 years of sabbatical.

Talking about Shilpa’s husband Raj, he was produced before court today. The Mumbai Police stated that they suspect Raj Kundra indulged in online betting and used the money that he earned from pornography. According to an ANI report, “In the WhatsApp chats, we have found that Raj Kundra was talking about a deal about selling 121 videos for USD 1.2 million. This deal seems to be on the international level.”
