Deepika Padukone and her manager have been under the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau ever since their drugs-related chats were found during the investigation of the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. A while ago, both Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash were questioned by NCB. Both of them were allowed to walk free after a round of investigation.
Recently, NCB raided Karishma’s house and seized a small quantity of drugs. An NCB official told IANS, “It is true that Prakash has gone untraceable after being summoned for questioning.”
She was then summoned by the agency. However, she went untraceable. NCB even sent summons to her mother and the owners as well as colleagues at KWAN which is a talent management company.
It’s been several days and Karishma is still missing. And now, the latest reports claim that Karishma has quit her job. A source close to the talent management company revealed that she resigned on October 21. The source revealed, “Her association with Deepika and few other actors was only as a KWAN employee. So naturally those associations would also be severed.”
This means that she is no longer the manager of Deepika Padukone.
