While now the film has grabbed headlines as the netizens have started the Boycott trend over Twitter now.

Recently, the actor was brutally criticized and trolled over his statement on history textbooks, while now many have started boycotting the film over his recent appearance in the Pan Masal advertisement, while others wrote about boycotting the film due to his previous statement about not visiting temples during OMG – Oh My God release where he said he won’t visit temples. On the other hand, while promoting Samrat Prithviraj, Akshay has visited a number of temples.

On the other hand, the film has been controversial for a long time. Many big controversies had also arisen regarding its name, after which its name was changed to Samraat Prithviraaj.

‘Samrat Prithviraj’, which is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role as he plays the legendary warrior who fought valiantly to protect India from the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. It also stars former Miss World Manushi Chhillar in the role of King Prithviraj’s beloved princess Sanyogita. The film is directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.
