Brahmastra: After much buzz and controversies, Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated film Brahmastra is now running in the theatres. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the audience it is now reported that the film has crossed the 100cr mark with its domestic earnings. Netizens Questions Brahmastra Makers For “Fake” BO Figures

Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra was released in the theatres on 9th September, the film opened up to an impressive collection at the box office on its very first day breaching a total of about Rs 35.75 crore net in the domestic market. While as of now the film has crossed the 100cr mark already.

However, a segment of netizens has now come out to question the makers of Brahmastra regarding the box office figures of the film. Apparently, Twitter has been witnessing a whole debate on whether the box office figures of Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra have been fabricated. Reacting to the same a huge segment of social media users have now shared videos of empty theatres and the availability of tickets online.

Recently a journalist(Meena Das Narayan) tweeted out demanding legal action to be taken against Karan Johar for “spreading lies” about Brahmastra’s box office figures. She tweeted, “Can some legal guy sue #KaranJohar for spreading lies about #brahmastraboxoffice”. Sharing her tweet Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker reacted with a lot of laughing emoticons.

That’s not it, a whole segment of netizens have now shared their reactions to this ongoing debate about fabricating Brahmastra’s box office figures. A Twitter user commented on Meena Das’s tweet and wrote, “Even if they themselves are buying tickets.. seats are vacant.. I mean no body is ready to go to watch it even on those free tickets”, another user wrote, “should look into this,seats r miraculously booked, bt still theaters are empty,worldwide collection increasing My guess is that tickets were booked at the counter by paying cash, and then that person forgot to watch the movie ;-)”.

Kangana Ranaut Takes A Dig At Karan Johar For Sharing False Collections

Apart from the netizens, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently took a dig at Karan Johar for sharing false figures and box office collections of Brahamstra. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana wrote, “I want to interview Karan Johar and understand why is he declaring gross collection of Brahmastra and not net collection? what is the desperation? Also after making 60cr (that’s the net collection they have declared, I don’t believe in this number but Net amount India is 60cr for two days according to them) even if we believe them how come 650cr film emerged a hit already…”
