Though the two have been offered several projects in the past as well, however at that time they decided to pass the proposals since they wanted to acknowledge the audience’s response to their chemistry.
Meanwhile, after Brahamstra’s success, it is believed that both Alia and Ranbir are now exploring opportunities to collaborate again in a romantic film, a source close to the development told Indiatoday.in, “Both Ranbir and Alia were waiting for Brahmastra’s release before deciding to work in a film again. They wanted to get feedback from the audience to explore more films in the future. They were offered films in the past, but the duo said no to them. However, the success of Brahmastra is making them explore more options together. They wish to do a romantic comedy together. About Brahmastra, they are really happy with the feedback received. In the future, if any offer comes to them, they will consider if it is good,”

Talking about Ayan Mukerji’s film, Brahmastra, the highly anticipated film has opened up to impressive collections at the box office. While what has remained a highlight for many is Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in the film as Vanarastra, the actor has been highly praised by the viewers who have even started a “petition” demanding that a spin-off should be made only featuring him. Reacting to the same, Ayan Mukerji has now confirmed the spin-off for Shah Rukh’s character in Brahmastra.
Apart from Shah Rukh, Deepika’s cameo in the film is also highly anticipated and the netizens are now expecting to see Ranveer Singh opposite the actress. Recently, Ayan Mukerji was seen announcing the release date of the second part of Brahmastra which is expected to hit the theatres in 2025. The film will be based on the character “Dev” who will be the lead antagonist in the film and also Shiva’s father. While the buzz about the character is that it will be essayed by Ranveer Singh himself. Apart from Ranveer Vikram Vedha actor Hrithik Roshan is also rumored to have been approached for the role.
