After Alia Bhatt’s Pregnancy, Farah Khan Says ‘Rishi Ji Is Coming Back’

Filmmaker Farah Khan tells Neetu Kapoor that Rishi Kapoor will be coming back into the family as Alia and Ranbir's child.

On Monday, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy news as she posted a picture of herself with Ranbir Kapoor in a hospital. With no surprise, the picture of the couple took the internet by storm as fans shared their reactions to the news. Meanwhile, recently Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan also commented on Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy as she told Neetu Kapoor on the sets of a reality show, saying ‘Rishi ji is coming back’.

In a recent video of the reality show ‘Dance Deewane Juniors’, show’s host Karan Kundrra says, “Neetu ji, dadi banne wali hain. Aap ko hum sabhi ki taraf se badhaiyaan (Neetu ji is going to become a grandmother soon. Congratulations from all of us).” To this Neetu replies saying, “Thank you, you know isse achhi news nahi ho sakti (Thank you, there can’t be a better news than this).” Farah then says, “I think, mujhe lag raha hai, Chintu ji wapas aane wale hain (I feel Rishi Kapoor will be coming back now).” Neetu replies, “Haan (Yes).”

For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 and went to New York City for treatment. After a two-year battle with the disease, Rishi Kapoor died in April 2020 at the age of 68. In an interview, the late actor shared a word about his grandchildren and said, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, and Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.” On Monday, Alia Bhatt’s mother took to her Instagram account to share the most exciting news on social media as she congratulated the B-town’s new parents Alia and Ranbir.

On the work front, Neetu Kapoor was recently seen in Karan Johar’s film ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ in which she was seen along with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor, the film has been getting a good response from the audience. Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir will be together seen in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film ‘Brahmastra’. It is scheduled for theatrical release on Sep 9. Ranbir will also be seen in ‘Shamshera’ alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
