An Advice By Saroj Khan That Made Shahrukh Khan Richest Actor

In an interview, Shahrukh Khan had once revealed the an advice given by choreographer Saroj Khan that he followed and made him rich.

Shahrukh Khan is one of the most celebrated actors in the Hindi film industry. In his career of three decades, he has created immense wealth and an unparallel fan following. But this wealth that makes him the second richest actor in the world wasn’t just built from working in films. Endorsements, launch functions have been his big source of income. Also, did you know that he started the trend of Bollywood celebs dancing at weddings for money? Well, Shahrukh once told, “People want a part of me. Whether it is for endorsement, or being a brand ambassador, or for an opening, or a wedding or a magazine launch, everybody likes me to come. And I do that because sometimes the money is good and sometimes the relationships are good.”

He explained, “Movies I do for free. But for other things, I am highly-priced. I have huge dignity of labor. I have no problem doing anything. I can act anywhere, I can dance anywhere. And I do it with full love. But there’s money attached to it because I take that money and use it in making my own films. So I don’t have to borrow or worry about how to make my films.”

He also stated the reason behind the same. He recalled a lesson taught by choreographer Saroj Khan. Shahrukh told Lehren, “I was taught by Saroj Khan once that ‘never say no to work. Because it pains a lot when you don’t get work’. She said, ‘never complain about how much work you have. Keep working. If someone is paying money, take it happily. Because chances are high that money and work won’t come throughout life’.”

“Saroj Khan telling something like that means a lot. She said, ‘I have seen myself struggling for work, getting work, then being at the top, and then not getting work, and then coming back’,” Shahrukh further recalled his conversation with Saroj Khan.
