Adnan Sami, Mohit Chauhan, Armaan Malik Offer Condolences To Bhupinder Singh

Bhupinder Singh passed away on Monday and Bollywood celebs offered their condolences

Veteran singer Bhupinder Singh passed away at the age of 82 in Mumbai. He left the music industry in a huge void and the nation is in utter shock. The iconic singer was admitted to the hospital before he took his last breath. Allegedly, the singer died due to suspected colon cancer and Covid-related complications. Several celebrities offered their condolences to Bhupinder Singh as they mourn the grief of the singer’s unfortunate death. 

Singh voiced numerous popular songs including Dil Dhoondta Hai, Naam Gum Jaayega, Ek Akela Is Shaher Mein, Beeti Na Beetai Raina, Huzoor Is Kadar Bhi Na Itra Ke Chaliye, Kisi Nazar Ko Tera Intezar Aaj Bhi Hai, Baadalon Se Kaat Kaat Ke among others. His voice brought joy to millions and had a uniqueness says Ajay Devgn. 

Adnan Sami penned a heartfelt note on Twitter in remembrance of the late singer. He tweeted: Deeply saddened by the news that Bhupinder Singh ji has passed away. Bhupi-Da’, as we lovingly referred to him was blessed with a Haunting Voice, was a Beautiful Guitarist & indeed, an Incredibly Warm Soul… My heartfelt condolences to his family… May he rest in peace.”

Shekhar Suman wrote, “Dil dhoondta hai phir wohi fursat ke raat din..the man with the velvet voice..Bhupendra Singh is no more…RIP.” Armaan Malik tweeted as he paid condolences to Bhupinder Singh: “Extremely saddened to hear about Bhupinder Singh sir’s demise! May his beautiful soul rest in peace.” 

Mohit Chauhan penned: “Devastated. I loved this man to bits. What a singer! What a voice! What a master guitar player!! Hindi film music industry will never have another Bhupinder Singh RIP Maestro. Play the riff up there, yet again!”

Bhupinder Singh’s wife confirmed that he had a colon ailment and the last rites will be held on Tuesday. She said: “He passed away on Monday and the funeral will be held mostly on Tuesday. He had a colon ailment.”

The iconic singer was admitted to Criticare Asia hospital, whose director Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, told that they had to put him on the ventilator after his condition got worsened on the morning of Monday (July 18). The doctor further told that he got cardiac arrest and passed away.
