Actresses getting trolled on social media for their dressing styles or putting on a few pounds has become a norm nowadays.
Now, Huma Qureshi, who is known for her acting prowess and bold choices, has fallen prey to this new norm of social media trolling. Yesterday, Huma was spotted at an event along with many other celebs, but once again, the actress got trolled by netizens. Scroll down to know more.
Huma was spotted wearing a purple thigh-high slit dress on the red carpet of one event, but her visible belly fat immediately made her the easy target for netizen’s fat shaming.
Many even raised doubt if she is pregnant?
“Is she pregnant??,” many users commented. “Looks uncomfortable, should dress according to body shape/frame”, another user commented. “Pet kitna bahar h bilkul ajeeb lg ra dress”, wrote another.
However, there were also a few who also praised her for her fashion choice and look and called out other netizens for their fat shaming. “Damn, that colour looks so good on her”, a user wrote.
“Guys please at least don’t do body shaming. Gaining and losing part of everyone’s life. Everyone became a gynaecologist and started guessing about her pregnancy,” another user wrote.
Last year Huma Qureshi was also seen in a movie Double XL alongside Sonakshi Sinha, that also addressed the issue of fat-shaming. The two portrayed roles of women who are often rejected in professional front and personal lives because of their overweight figure.
Meanwhile on the work front, Huma will be next seen in Navjot Gulati’s Pooja Meri Jaan where she will be paired with Mrunal Thakur.
