Versatile actor Vijay Raaz who has given remarkable performances in several Bollywood films has been booked under molestation charges. The actor was arrested in Gondia district of Maharashtra on Tuesday. A police official told that a woman filed a complaint against the actor accusing him of sexual harassment. She said that the actor molested her during the shooting of the film Sherni in neighbouring Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday.
Upon receiving the complaint, the police registered a case against him under section 354 and he was arrested from a hotel in Gondia where the crew is staying. He was then produced before a court which granted him bail.
Vijay Raaz is known for his performance in films like Gully Boy, Run, Delhi Belly, Bombay to Goa, Dhamaal and others.

Raaz started his Bollywood film with a small role in the 1999 film Bhopal Express. He received massive recognition for his comic role in the 2004 film ‘Run’. From playing funny roles in films like Run and Dhamaal, to playing a gangster in Delhi Belly, to playing an abusive father in Gully Boy, Vijay Raaz has nailed every role with perfection.
