Actor Mudasir Zafar Talks About His Film ‘Nobel Peace’ With Hiten Tejwani

Actor Mudasir Zafar, known for the film "My Friend's Dulhania" opens up about his role in the latest release titled "Nobel Peace."

Jammu-based actor Mudasir Zafar is currently garnering appreciation for his recent film titled “Nobel Peace”. The film won the best film (Jury) award at Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival & Best Screenplay Award at the 8th edition of the Indian Cine Film Festival in 2020.

In the film, Mudasir Zafar is playing the character of Hayan Mir while popular actor Hiten Tejwani plays Professor Shlok Manhas. Talking about the plot of the movie, Zafar says, ” Nobel Peace is about the journey of a young boy Hayan Mir, who finds purpose in life using the power of social media. Under the guidance of a college professor, Shlok Manas. Hayan starts an awareness movement with an aim to bring peace in the society plagued by underlying hatred due to biased ethnic sentiments. However, fate has something else in store for him and his mentor.”

Further talking about his role in the film he says,” I am playing the character Hayan mir who is the protagonist. He is a village guy who finds purpose in life under the guidance of professor Shlok played by Hiten Tejwani. His aim is to bring peace in the society, especially between the communities.”

Lastly sharing the feedback about the film, he says, ” I have been receiving amazing responses for my character and also about the plot of the movie. Expecially my folks from Jammu are appreciating my work and so I feel blessed to be a part of such a movie as I am from Jammu itself.”
