Actor Mohit Baghel Passes Away Due To Cancer

At the age of 26, Actor Mohit Baghel, best known for his role in 'Ready' with Salman Khan, died of cancer

Actor Mohit Baghel, who played Amar Chaudhary in Salman Khan’s ‘Readydied of cancer, news agency PTI reported. He’s 26. Writer-director Raaj Shaandilyaa told PTI the actor had sadly died in his hometown of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday morning.

“He is gone too soon. He has been undergoing treatment for cancer in AIIMS hospital in Delhi since six months. I spoke to him last on May 15 and that time he was ok, he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend, who said he passed away today morning at his residence,” he quoted.

Raaj, who worked with Mohit in Comedy Circus and Jabariya Jodi as a writer said he wanted to cast the actor in his Dream Girl (2019) directorial debut but couldn’t work together on the film due to date issues.

“He was such a talented actor. His comic timing was great. He had two films with him that time – Milan Talkies and Bunty Aur Babli 2 – so we couldn’t work together on Dream Girl,” he said.

Mohit Baghel was a part of movies like Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami and Gali Gali Chor Hai. Before the lockdown, he was working on ‘Milan Talkies’ and ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2.’

 Raaj further mentioned that through a mutual friend he came the know about the demise. He also took to Twitter to share the news and Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, actors from ‘Jabariya Jodi,’ paid their condolences.
